that sometimes I hear echoingaround;

Piedmont, and its hundredwooded valleys

set deep into the cool

of rivers of clear waters

a music for mountains andtheir glaciers

a wealth for all fields ofwheat in the plain.

The most beatiful town inthe world

with the fascinating castlesof Monferrato,

with its Barbera, Baroloand Malvasia wines!

Piedmont, proud and boldpeople,

with their ancient tongueand their flag

flying high on the highestbridges, scraping the sky

and deeply touching the generoushearts of our brothers,

Piedmontese people spreadedin the world, from any place you are

don't let the flower of ournation dye!
